Stopped in to this quaint pub with my sons for an afternoon lunch. Hospitality was the utmost and the atmosphere cheerful. The cabin decor was original and delightful as the food was portioned with satisfaction and taste.
BSC continues to be the go to cafe in Locust Valley. Great tap beers, cocktails and wine selection. Good wait service and daily specials. All dishes served blazing hot and on time.

Finally made it to Locust Valley on New Year's Day. Buckram was a great little find for lunch. Had a great little cut steak and tomatoes lunch. Also, two delicious Patron-infused Rita's. What wasn't to like? Family run op. Will definitely be back this week. Highly recommend.
Great burgers. Don't be put off by the suspicious lack of prices on the menu. 2 burgers and a beer cost $48 which is not, under the current circumstances unreasonable. The atmosphere is definitely stodgy, but it's also cool and kitschy if you can get past the ... how can I put this, Nassau-ness of it.
A must try!!!! This is the perfect casual restaurant you can go to on a whim but still have great food and drinks! I went for my first time recently and will be going back for sure!! On top of great food I loved that they had a cute little outdoor area. The service was also great....Friendly staff was noticed and appreciated. If you're in the area definitely go!! Also.... I think the honey mustard was the best honey mustard I've ever had in my life....seriously !
Great find! We stumbled upon this restaurant and we are happy we did. We both had chicken wings, a burger and a salad - house for her and Caesar for me. Everything was amazing. Especially the dessert! Highly recommend. You won't be disappointed.
I had been meaning to come here and was so happy we finally did. Food was amazing! Even my son thought so and ate almost all his pasta. Nice quaint little place. Service was great. I can't wait to come back.
Probably one of the best burgers on Long Island. Great bacon wrapped scallops as well. Never had a bad meal here. Always busy, so service is a little slow. So have a drink, relax and enjoy a great meal.
First the food. So consistent. Brunch on weekends, lunch or dinner. One can always get a good meal and the menu has specials to make it appealing and new. I typically get an app and salad when trying to be healthy, but when I want a good burger nothing beats the buckram stabilizer on an English muffin. Nothing. Wait staff are always attentive and helpful. Now the environment. That's what makes it special. It's like a pub...casual and comfortable, but more unique and charming...You have to see it. Great community place.
